Back in the Sanctuary

Updated April 1, 2021

To our Akron Alliance Fellowship Church Community and to All Visitors—

Thank you for your ongoing flexibility during this time as we #StaySafe and #StayPrayerful during the Coronavirus Pandemic. We ask that each of our members and friends continues to do what is necessary to keep the spread of the virus under control. We sincerely appreciate all church attendees and friends of the church continuing to follow the city and state guidelines as we desire to maintain a safe environment for worship and praise once we resume meeting together in our church building. We have resumed our worship service in the Akron Alliance Fellowship church building, and we plan to resume meeting outdoors on the church property in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Please stay tuned to this page for regular updates pertaining to our church schedule.

Our schedule for Sunday, April 4: We will be exclusively online with Live Stream Sunday School at 9:30 AM EDT via Facebook Live on our Akron Alliance Fellowship Church Facebook page. After Sunday School, our family and friends in the Akron (OH) community can join us for praise music and a message at our church for a Worship Service at 11:00 AM EDT. Our church address is 688 Diagonal Road, Akron OH. Expect the service to last approximately one hour. There will be temperature checks for all visitors, and masks will be required for entry and are to be worn by all visitors. The seating in the sanctuary will reflect social distancing, and we ask that all visitors follow the same practice of social distancing. For those who are still uncomfortable with gathering in the church building, we will, for the time being, provide the same sermon (pre-recorded) message online on our Akron Alliance Fellowship Facebook Page.

We have suspended our Wednesday Bible Study sessions at the church until further notice. There will be Bible Study lessons online. Look for these during the second Wednesday of every month at 2:00 PM EST and for additional studies in the near future. Follow our Akron Alliance Fellowship Facebook Page for updates.

We ask that all of our church members and visitors to continue to follow safe practices to prevent spread of the virus or any illness and to please stay home if you are ill or experiencing symptoms of illness, including a regular cold or the flu.  If you want us to pray for you, your health or for any situation or circumstance, please send us a note at or call 330.376.4654. We are always here for you.

All video messages and live stream content can be reviewed on our Akron Alliance Fellowship Facebook Page and through links here at Our previous messages and text summaries online along with audio of our sermon messages and Sunday school classes are also available here at Select the Sermons/Audio tab under Links from our menu.

Church Members: If you are homebound or need assistance, please call and we can help you or bring whatever you are in need of to your doorstep. If you still want to contribute your weekly offering to please mail it to the church (Akron Alliance Fellowship, 688 Diagonal Road, Akron OH 44320). There will be a drop box for offerings available at the church entrance on Sundays between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM.

God is more than able to deliver us through this time of uncertainty. We ask that all of you remain prayerful and mindful of your neighbors and your community.  When we get together, whether online or in person, you are always welcome here at Akron Alliance Fellowship Church.

May God richly bless you and your families during this extraordinary time.
